Bluebelle nursery aims to provide a safe happy and inclusive environment where every child has the opportunity to meet their full potential.
We believe children learn through play and first hand experiences supported and guided sensitively by experienced members of staff. We provide an environment rich with resources and activities such as: Role play areas, craft and painting areas, mark making area, computer, book corner, interest/exploration table, fine motor skills table(threading, lacing etc), puzzle table, sand and water play, construction and small world play.
We also offer activities for physical and creative development such as musical instruments and music and dance, imaginative drama and small equipment such as balls, hoops beanbags, parachute and slide.
We plan for, and support the children's learning development within the foundation phase/framework for children’s learning for 3-7 years olds in Wales which consists of 7 areas of leaning and experience:
- Personal and Social Development, Well Being and Cultural Diversity
- Language, Literacy and Communication Skills
- Mathematical Development
- Knowledge and Understanding of the World
- Physical Development
- Creative Development
- Welsh Language Development
The premises consist of a large well lit room, a smaller room used for snack time and other activities and an outside area available at all times.
We are set in the middle of fields and recreational facilities which gives us the opportunity to explore the world around us.
We believe parents are the main 'educator' of their children and welcome their involvement in the nursery life and their children’s education.
